Week of 11.5.18
Hello Brave Community!
Happy Monday Evening! We are quickly approaching our Thanksgiving
Break. There are only nine school days
left (Yes, I am counting down!) before we all get some much needed time for rest
and rejuvenation. In the meantime, we
will continue to engage each of our BRAVE students in an amazing teaching and
learning experience here at DFT!
As a Leader in Me campus, we highlight one of the Seven
Habits of Highly Effective People each week. Our habit of the week this week is Habit 6: Synergize! We teach our students the value of working
together with others. We provide
opportunities for teamwork among students because we know that they can get
more done when working with a group than working alone.
Word of the Week
(WOW):
This week’s word is “adapt”.
It is a verb that means to become used to a change. Partner with us in focusing on our campus
WOW. Ask your student to use the word in
a sentence or perhaps you could be very intentional in your use of our
word. Thanks for your participation!
Coffee with the
Principal:
Please join me for my next Coffee
and Conversation on Friday, November 9, 2018.
I am very much interested in getting to know you better, as well
providing an opportunity for you to continue to get to know me. We will begin immediately following announcements
at 7:45 a.m.
