Hello Brave Community!  Happy Monday!   I hope that you were able to enjoy Spring Break . During the break I spent a lot of time resting and reading.   I feel completely refreshed and ready to wrap up the last 43 days of this school year by helping to provide an exceptional teaching and learning experience for all of our BRAVE students! As a Leader in Me campus, we highlight one of the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People each week.   Our habit of the week this week is Habit 4: Think Win-Win !    We teach our students how to think of others when problem solving.   Our goal is to arrive at solutions that benefit everyone involved. Word of the Week (WOW): This week’s word is “ optimistic ”.  It is an adjective that means hopeful and confident. Partner with us in focusing on our campus WOW.  Ask your student to use the word in a sentence or perhaps you could be very intentional in your use of our word.  Thanks for your participation! Hello Brave Community!  Happy Monday!   Leadership Day was AWESOME!   Our students did a phenomenal job displaying their leadership skills for their families and our community.   They clearly articulated how we integrate the 7 Habits of Happy Kids into our school culture. Special thanks to our superintendent of schools, Dr. Flores, and Mayor Morgan for attending as two of our special guests.
