Week of 12.16.19
Hello Brave Community!
Happy Monday Evening! I hope that
you had an enjoyable weekend! This is a short week of learning. Our students will start
their Winter Break on Thursday, 12/19 at 2:55 pm! They will be out of school for more than two
weeks. During the break encourage your
student to cozy up with a favorite book or even sharpen their math skills by
logging in to DreamBox. We will welcome all
of our BRAVE students back bright and early on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 to resume
an exceptional teaching and learning experience!
As
a Leader in Me campus, we highlight one of the Seven Habits of Highly
Effective People each month. Our
habit of the month this month is Habit 3: Put First Things First! We teach our students to prioritize and
spend time on things that are most important.
Word of the Week (WOW):
This week’s word is “FESTIVE”. It is an adjective that
means cheerful and joyful during a celebration. Partner with us in
focusing on our campus WOW. Ask your student to use the word in a
sentence or perhaps you could be very intentional in your use of our
word. Thanks for your participation!
