Week of 2.24.20

Hello Brave Community!  Happy Monday! This weekend, a very talented group of our students participated in the Regional Science Fair.   The group was led by one of our 5 th grade teachers, Ms. Amy Moore.   I am pleased to share that our Braves represented Double File Trail well.   We had so many of our students achieve first, second or third place!   Additionally, we had a student, Emmy Schultz, earn a special award: The Health Innovation Award!   I am beyond impressed and super proud of each of our participants, and I am very appreciative of the time and commitment that Ms. Moore poured into this event! As a Leader in Me campus, we highlight one of the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People each month.   Our habit of the month this month is Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, then to be Understood !    We teach our students to listen to others and to try to understand the views and feelings of others, even if they are different from their own. Leadership Day on 3.6.20!:
