  Hello Brave Community!  Happy Wednesday! Fall has arrived, which means that cooler temperatures are on the horizon.  Please take a peek at the weather each evening to make sure that you are sending your kiddo to school dressed for the weather.  We want them to be comfortable while at school learning and discovering new things.  Thanks! As a Leader in Me campus, we highlight one of the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People each month.  Our habit of the month is Habit 1: Be Proactive !   We teach and model for our students a “can do” attitude.  We emphasize that each student is in charge of themselves.  We remind them that they chose their actions in advance, as well as their attitude and mood. Word of the Week (WOW): This week’s word is “ COURTEOUS ”.  It is an adjective that means polite or respectful.   Ask your student to use the word in a sentence or perhaps you could be very intentional in your use of our word.  Thanks for your participation!
