Hello Brave Community!

Happy Friday! Today was an amazing day filled with tons of teaching and learning. We ended our day with the excitement of Brave Hour!  Students were gardening, creating visual art, planning a stage play, playing checkers/chess and so much more. During Brave Hour every student must have a purpose. Consider asking your student how he or she spent Brave Hour, and more specifically what his or her purpose was today. I think you might be pleasantly surprised with the response you receive from your BRAVE leader.

As a Leader in Me campus, we highlight one of the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People each month.  Our habit of the month for March is Habit 6: Synergize!  We teach our students the importance and benefit of teamwork. We highlight and model how to work well with others!

Word of the Week (WOW): This week’s word is FOND".  It is an adjective that means to like or have affection for.  Ask your student to use the word in a sentence, or perhaps you could be very intentional in your use of our word.  Thanks for your participation!
