 Hello, Brave Families!

Tomorrow is the big day – the first day of the 2020-2021 school year!  Our teachers can’t wait to connect with students.  We hope that students are excited and ready to join in their class (Google) meeting beginning at 8:30 am.  Please know that we are here to help!  Virtual support is available 7:40-2:55! If you need immediate assistance during school hours, please send an email to elyse_miller@roundrockisd.org or you may call our main number at 512.428.7400.

Supply Distribution for Virtual Learning:

Our teachers have identified some resources that will support student learning during this first 3 weeks of virtual instruction. We have been assembling a grade-level-specific collection of materials and supplies for each student.  We will distribute them from our bus loop on Monday, 8/24 at the following times: 7:00-8:30, 11:00-12:30 and 4:30-6:00.

From our PTA:

Our PTA decorated a backdrop for beginning of year photos.  It is located in the front of our school.  Please remember to social distance.  Thanks!

2019-2020 pre-ordered yearbooks are available for pick up in the front office.

Device Distribution:

If you indicated a need for a device on the parent choice form and have not picked up your device yet, please plan to do so by Friday at noon.  Friday afternoon we will begin to distribute devices and Hotspots that have not been picked up to families that are on our waiting list. Also, if you did not complete the form, but need a device, it is not too late to do so. Just note that there might be a delay in filling your request. Please call our front office at 512.428.7400 with questions.

Summer Quote:

"Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass on a summer day listening to the murmur of water, or watching the clouds float across the sky is hardly a waste of time." John Lubbock
