Brave Newsletter 8.3.21

Hello Brave Community!

Happy Wednesday! We are down to the final couple of weeks of Summer Break.  Teachers return to campus on Monday for professional development and to begin preparing classrooms for the start of the 2021-2022 school year. I am excited about the start of this new school year and can’t wait to welcome our Brave leaders back to school! Thanks so much for all that you are doing in anticipation of the new school year!

Save the Date(s):

Monday, August 16th, 5:00-6:00: Meet the Teacher/School Supply Drop Off!

Thursday, September 2nd, 5:30-6:40: Back to School Night! (Parent Information)

First Day of School:

Wednesday, August 18th is the first day of school!  School hours are 7:40-2:55.  We open our doors at 7:10 am for students to enter the building.  Upon entering, they either go to the cafeteria for breakfast or go to their classroom to start getting ready for the school day.

We will start dismissing students at 2:45 during the first week of school only.  (It takes longer the first couple of days, so we will start a little early.)  On 8/23, the second week of school, dismissal will begin at the regular time of 2:55pm.

From our PTA President:

If you would like to be more involved in PTA, please email me. We have a lot of board positions and volunteer opportunities available. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. Thank you for your continued support! I’m really looking forward to this incoming school year! Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much!

Summer Quote:

"Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass on a summer day listening to the murmur of water, or watching the clouds float across the sky is hardly a waste of time." John Lubbock
