Hello Brave Community!

Happy Tuesday! We are so excited about this upcoming school year.  It was great seeing so many of our families last night at our “Meet the Teacher” event.  If you were unable to attend, please know that you will still be able to meet your child’s teacher tomorrow and walk him/her to the classroom.  We only ask that you arrive between 7:15-7:35 and agree to exit the building by 7:40 so that we can begin our school day.  Thanks in advance for your support!

As a Leader in Me campus, we highlight one of the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People each month.  Our habit of the month is Habit 1: Be Proactive!   We teach and model for our students a “can do” attitude.  We emphasize that each student is in charge of themselves.  We remind them that they chose their actions in advance, as well as their attitude and mood.

Word of the Week (WOW):

Each week we have a word of the week. Our first word of the week is “FOND”.  It is an adjective that means having an affection or liking for.  Ask your student to use the word in a sentence or perhaps you could be very intentional in your use of our word.  Thanks for your participation!
