 Hello Brave Community!

Happy Wednesday! Today is our first PTA Spirit Day of this school year! We’d love it if  you could show extra school spirit by ordering lunch or dinner from Marco’s Pizza on University Blvd. Whether it is dine-in, carry-out, or delivery, simply let them know that you are ordering on behalf of Double File Trail Elementary and a percentage of the proceeds from orders between 11:00-9:00 will go to our PTA. If you are ordering online, be sure to use the fundraiser button on the left.  Thanks, everyone!

As a Leader in Me campus, we highlight one of the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People each month.  Our habit of the month this month is Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind!  We teach and model for our students how to plan ahead and set goals.  We emphasize the importance of being prepared.

Word of the Week (WOW):

Each week we have a word of the week. This week’s word of the week is “BEWILDERED”.  It is an adjective that means perplexed and confused.  Ask your student to use the word in a sentence or perhaps you could be very intentional in your use of our word.  Thanks for your participation!
